The play will be Mo Donegal, just as it was for me when he was a troubled and rallying fifth in Louisville. ![]() You’re not going to see 5% of the 80-1 on Rich Strike this time, who will likely go shorter than 4-1. ![]() My intuition is that We The People’s double-digit-length romp in the Peter Pan on a wet track will be overbet, as will the sentiment for the filly Nest. Great horses win despite the race shape average ones need the help. Can Rich Strike kick home as effectively after using more of his energy to stay up close? That’s the kicker. Deep closers rarely win the Belmont despite its longer distance. Stylistically it will be up to jockey Sonny Leon to put Rich Strike closer to the pace than he was at Churchill Downs five weeks ago. Do we have a superstar or one-hit wonder in our midst? The answer comes against a field that includes Wood Memorial winner Mo Donegal, local Peter Pan runaway victor We The People and Kentucky Oaks runner-up Nest. In reality, it will be more of a test to see if 80-1 Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike is more akin to the Beatles or Chumbawamba. So, I would actually put it more into the adventure category, but the puzzles are missing - it's like this horse-based MMO with adventure elements. The mile-and-a-half Test of the Champion at the Belmont Stakes on Saturday is all that awaits the Triple Crown season for 2022. There's no tactics, strategy, action or platforms, and your dialogue choices don't affect anything. You can buy different kinds of horses, so I guess it works as a collection - and well a horse game (but there are no set frames for one other than focused horse gameplay - SSO is missing things what in my mind a horse game which has been out for 10 years should have, like dressage). / So, what genre is SSO exactly? In my mind, it isn't a MMORPG (however, I would love to hear different views to this!). SSO doesn't feel like enough of an MMORPG, like it's described in Jorvikipedia and by the creators theirselves. The story part feels more like a visual novel with some action parts. Also, SSO doesn't encourage you to play with friends that much - there are clubs and groups, but you can't even get XP from group races or any quests or activities to get done in groups. SSO doesn't have combat like many MMORPG's which is fine, but there's nothing else like that either - there is nothing to progress in our characters, our characters have no special branching (and not even horses have those), we can't do any special interactions like magic with specific mechanics (or I myself has just got to activate some runestones with a wand but it was a cutscene). However, something I have noticed is that our player doesn't have any kind of skills and there are no skill development, just levels (reputation, main XP and horse). / So, I am a new player (ahh please don't kill me if I get some info wrong) and I haven't played all of the quests yet and am stuck with reputation quests. ![]() I was curious and searching up information about SSO (I didn't even find a wikipedia page - does one exist?) and I ended up with a question - what type of game IS Star Stable exactly? Hey! I'm here to talk about a subject which came up when I was discussing the game with a friend.
